The Firm as well advises various clients in the midstream and downstream Oil and Gas sector clients covering complex legal, financial, commercial and tax related issues.
Key Matters Handled
- Represented a state corporation managing natural resources before the National Environmental Tribunal in a USD 70 million (KES 9.1 billion) energy project dispute.
- Represented a client in a judicial review matter wherein we sought to set aside the revocation of our Client’s special mining license issued pursuant to the Mining Act.
- Represented a state corporation in a suit where the Plaintiff sought damages for USD 126 Million on account of breach of contract.
- Represented a major energy provider in a contractual dispute in a matter involving procurement and supply of machinery worth KES 11.5 B (USD 89 M).
